Broker's Comments
A rare find indeed!!
If you are in the market for a very well preserved, heavy displacement, blue water sailboat, that won't be parked in the boatyard for years, while replacing and repairing overdue maintenance and damage due to neglect, look no further than this Westsail 32.
These heavy displacement blue water cruisers are revered for their safety, and ability to maintain themselves in the worst sea state. This West Sail 32 is particularly sound and no doubt would be perfect for a solo sailor, or couple.
During his ownership of over 35 years, the seller has clearly maintained and preserved every corner of this legendary vessel. The teak decking is less than 3 years old, as is the bow sprit. All bright work has been maintained and appears to have been recently re-finished. Other than some light oxidation and fading of gelcoat in places, she is in remarkable condition inside and out.
Vessel was re-powered in 2010 and includes a water maker.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
LOA includes all overhangs fore to aft and are considered for docking and marina qualifications.
