***JUST REDUCED***
Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to offer this large spacious flybridge cruiser. The boat is offered as a "light finishing project" as the current owner has had all the main works done and there are just some minor and cosmetic items to deal with.
The current owner bought the boat a year ago with the idea of going to Europe on her. To that end the current owner had a huge amount of work done to recommission what had been a liveaboard vessel for a few years. However, the owner now has been diagnosed with a serious heath issue and will no longer be able to undertake the adventure he bought the boat for, and so she is going up for sale as a fully running and working but light finishing project.
The current owner had the engines fully serviced and the entire cooling system overhauled and drove the boat several hundred miles around the coast to her current mooring in Lowestoft so she runs as she should.
He has added Raymarine doplar radar, Raymarine plotter and autopilot and a 20hp bow thruster and 9 new batteries as part of his works to the boat. The fuel tanks have been fully emptied, cleaned and the fuel polished and the fuel lines all replaced. This is all a significant investment in this boat.
The boat itself is a 1988 Wellcraft San Remo 43 flybridge and is a very spacious vessel with an enormous saloon with wrap around seating and a feature ceiling, LED lighting configuration. The galley down arrangement is very big and this is where the bulk of the remaining work is needed in "fitting the kitchen out."
There are loads of storage spaces and cupboards in the galley and a fridge and a new induction hob which needs connecting. However, it really needs to be all fitted out and properly equipped.
Forward is a large bow island double which the current owner uses as a tools and equipment store room but tis all there and as it should be. The forward Jack and Jill, heads and shower is large and well equipped, clean and tidy. The aft master cabin is huge with an offset master double and adjoining small sofa, the aft heads and shower is very large and has the addition of a bath!
The boat is a very good size and wide and I can fully see why she made a great liveaboard vessel for a time. Her flybridge and outside deck space is vast and all the seating is in good order as is all the instrumentation and equipment. The current owner also fitted a 6 man life raft in hard case for his sea trips. The large canopy is in generally good order with a couple of minor repairs needed like a zip or two.
The forward deck is a large safe area with an anchor windlass and fender baskets. The boat is running on 240vAC and can also run 110v AC. she has two reverse cycle air-conditioning systems which do work but a raw water circulation pump is required to complete the system which is not a large cost as it is just a sea water pump.
At one time in its life the vessel has a large generator fitted which is no longer in place, however all the fitments and pipework appear to be there to just fit a similar unit should you wish.
The caterpillar 3208 motors appear to start and run very nicely, cleanly and smoothly indeed. The boat needs some minor cosmetic corrections here and there but these all appear to be very minor indeed.
On balance this boat represents incredible value for a large and mechanically serviced and fully working cruising boat or would make an amazing floating home with space to spare.
The current owner has a full survey when he bought the boat which is available. The works highlighted have all been addressed and the surveyor was re-engaged to return and confirm this which he has done. So if you are looking for a large floating home that can go anywhere or a cruising boat on budget then this is a great opportunity. She has all her paperwork and is a part 1 registered vessel.
