A little bit of history .....
The Starlight 35 was originally built by Sadler Yachts as a smaller development of their highly acclaimed Starlight 39. Launched in 1991 it was designed to provide similar performance and seaworthiness to her bigger sister, but to be more easily handled by a small crew. Although designed and fitted out as comfortable cruising boats, many Starlight 35s have achieved remarkable results racing.
In the late 1980s Sadlers went into receivership, and the assets were taken over by Starlight Yachts. This then became Bowman Yachts, then Rival Bowman in 1998, still producing Starlight 35s. Bowman then was taken over by Rustler Yachts, and for a short while continued building Starlights, though the last appear to have been built in the early 2000s.
This particular Starlight comes to the market appearing to be well cared for. Her teak decks are ok without signs of damage but obvious wear. Exterior and interior condition looks really good. I really liked the deep cockpit on this boat she felt very safe and a big boat feeling.
