Broker's Comments
Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to be able to offer this very tidy and recently refurbished Relcraft 26. We sold the boat to the current owner a couple of years ago after her previous owner passed away suddenly and she was in need of a fair bit of cosmetic work. The current owner has embarked on a comprehensive refit program and this shows as the boat is a a very clean tidy and nice place to spend time afloat. The current owner has worked to make this a clean tidy safe and comfortable boat that he could rely on so his work reflects this. However they have decided on a single level cruiser now and so the now finished Relcraft is being sold.
The work he has done is more than skin deep too. She has just had the Steyer engine and drive serviced for the new season and the engine has had new ecu control unit and other work costing in excess of 4k! All receipts are with the boat for the new owner. The 212hp Steyer diesel engine starts and runs very nicely indeed with no smoke and a solid eager note that betrays her very fast cruising capability. She is as happy at 6 knots as she will be at 20 plus and will be an economic river boat at river speeds with a good amount of fun in reserve for those times when you want it. This also means she is a very flexible and capable vessel. The large cockpit has tons of storage options and her upholstery is all in pretty good order. There are sunbed cushions that make this a very large chill area but the sun pad base BASICALLY A (square of plywood) will need to be re made as this has gone missing. The double helm seat affords great visibility and her canopy cover is in very good order. She has a folding radar arch fitted but at some stage in her life the current hard top was fitted around that and the recent canopy made to fit that layout. It would be quite simple to revert her to the folding arch with some canopy adjustments. There are solar panels and shore power fitted and she has a brand new toilet and large holding tank which has never been used. She will have a fresh boat safety certificate this week for 4 years and her broads toll is paid to 2027. Her marina mooring is also available to the new owner by agreement with the marina directly.
This is a tidy and mechanically very well sorted little boat that has also been coper coated and will a great first river and coastal capable boat .
