Broker's Comments
Boatshed Wales are delighted to offer for sale this Moody 31, built in 1988. This is the sought-after Mark II version, benefiting from a number of improved design features. The Moody 31 is widely regarded as a capable and comfortable cruising yacht, and Moody vessels in general are highly desirable thanks to their excellent build quality, spacious and well-designed interiors, and impressive sailing performance and seakeeping.
This particular example was surveyed two years ago, after which noted recommendations were addressed. The keel was professionally removed and refitted with new keel bolts, the mast was unstepped, inspected, and serviced by rigging specialists, new batteries were installed, and the engine received a full Volvo main-dealer service- all carried out in 2024.
The boat is offered with a good selection of sails, a cockpit bimini, a large inflatable dinghy, and a variety of useful extras, including a dehumidifier, pressure washer, and a toolbox with tools. The only reason for sale is the owner’s retirement from yachting.
A berth at Milford Marina, Pembrokeshire, may be available by separate negotiation.
Currently afloat and easily accessible, the boat is ready for viewings and inspections. We warmly welcome your interest.
