Broker's Comments
Boatshed Wales are delighted to offer for sale this LM30.
One of the very last LM30s to be built, this boat has been with her third owner for the past 20 years. Upgraded and well maintained throughout, she benefits from a long list of desirable recent and past investments.
The Volvo 2030 engine was fitted in 1997 and has been religiously serviced every winter. The saildrive diaphragm was replaced in 2023. The engine battery was replaced in 2024, while the twin house batteries, though 6 years old, still hold charge well. The Jabsco sea toilet and seacocks were replaced with new units in 2022.
Additional features include an electric windlass, fridge freezer, solar panels, and LED navigation and domestic lighting. The interior upholstery and carpets were renewed in 1998 and remain in excellent condition. She is equipped with hot and cold water, a shower with electric sump pump, blown air cabin heating, and an inflatable dinghy with outboard.
The sails appear to have plenty of life remaining. The rig includes a Furlex furling headsail, lazy jacks, mainsail, sail cover. The cockpit tent is in excellent condition and offers a dry, additional space when in use. Navigational equipment is varied and comprehensive.
A well-provisioned and lovingly maintained example of this capable, sturdy, and sea-kindly yacht—only offered for sale due to the owner's retirement from yachting.
We warmly welcome enquiries and encourage viewings.
