Broker's Comments

The first thing that strikes you about this Hunter 306 is the massive detachable cockpit enclosure that permits covered helming. Then the port and starboard cockpit seats give a good view forwards

The companionway is wide and shallow which offers easy access to the saloon.

The compact galley with fridge, cooker and sink lies to port. To port aft is the double cabin with storage space.

The saloon has a large single drop leaf table and the upholstery is good. Underneath the starboard cushions are the batteries.

The woodwork and headlining are unmarked and the floor looks like it has never been walked on.

The nav station has all the usual instruments

The forecabin is large with storage below the V berths..

The Yanmar engine has a sail drive. It started from cold instantly and ran smoothly.

The rig is fractional and looks in good order, as do the sails and canvaswork. There is an electric windlass for the large anchor locker but I noticed it does not have a dedicated battery.

Overall this is a handsome cruising boat that should offer its next owner much sailing pleasure - the hull and topsides almost sparkled in the sun
