Broker's Comments
Hanse Yachts, designed and hand built on the Baltic coast of Germany, renowned for high standards in engineering, building very strong, stiff yachts that have little flex when sailing.
The Hanse 301, although the smallest in the range is built to the same quality and has many advantages of a much larger boat. They are well balanced, easy to sail shorthanded and the fin keel version (which this boat is) has great all round performance even in heavier conditions. The Volvo MD2020, the larger of the standard spec engines means she has good speed and manoeuvrability under power as well as sail.
This particular boat is well equipped for comfortable coastal cruising. She has heating, hot water and a compact but more than adequate galley area. She has been continuously maintained and upgraded in this ownership and her previous ownership whilst being cruised and enjoyed.
The suite of sails are in very good condition (nearly new). None of the sails have seen a lot of use, The Genoa has scarcely been used and the self-tacker is brand new at the moment.
The vessel has just been launched from her usual winter maintenance where she benefitted from fresh antifouling and all the usual winter checks
Designed to accommodate friends and family and set also for short handed sailing especially with the self tacking headsail.
This has to be a must-see boat if you are looking to acquire a boat of this size and capability, in time for the coming season.
