Broker's Comments
Where do I start with this beautiful example of the Fairline Targa 29? Everywhere that's where, as she is a stunning and superbly tidy example of the type.
She has a separate rear double under sole bedroom that is light, airy and spacious with sitting and storage options. Her vast saloon also converts to a large double or used as a comfortable and convivial relaxing or entertaining space. Her cockpit seating has two separate areas that can work as one with the wraparound aft seating and the helm seat with port side J seating all meaning she can accommodate almost any configuration of guest seating.
Her blue hull gleams and her original gelcoat shines and her interior is pretty much as Fairline made it and to my eye in excellent order.
Her mechanics are also very clean and tidy and serviced. In fact, I taught the owner to drive this boat so I know that she runs very nicely indeed and handles wonderfully. She has a bow thruster making her even easier to manage at close quarters.
Her Volvo Penta AD31 engines (not Kad 32s as I mention in one of the videos) are plenty for this boat giving economical yet very spirited cruising when wanted. They are serviced and also showing just 507 hours.
You have the best of all worlds in this package: speed, economy, style, comfort and practicality all in one very smart package.
She has cream leather seating and is very clean and tidy. Her duo prop drives were in the process of being antifouled for the new season when I took the pictures so that will be done by now. She has also been copper coated in 2018 so antifouling is not required and the hull looks stunning with that system applied. Adding to that the deep blue GRP is very eye catching but also does show marks easy. There are a couple of scratches on the hull as you would expect for a boat of this age but they are not overly noticeable, but these are minor and a cheap and simple fix should you wish to have then addressed.
She has the extended bathing platform with concealed boarding ladder and is teak laid plus all the cockpit flooring areas so the looks amazing.
She has a huge and very comprehensive document set and a valid Boat Safety Certificate to Feb 2029.
Five life jackets are available for an extra cost.
GPA map 182 and autohelm tri-data give you plenty of navigation data to play with.
Lots of receipts prove this boat's impeccable ownership record and the care and attention that has helped her stay as beautiful as she still is.
Webasto warm air heating and shore power complete the package.
This appears to be a very good example of this very capable Targa 29 and must be seen to fully appreciate her.
