Broker's Comments
The Dufour 460 Grand Large is a modern cruising yacht designed by Italian naval architect Umberto Felci and built by Dufour Yachts. Introduced as part of the Grand Large range, it combines contemporary styling with practical cruising features, making it a popular choice for private owners and charter fleets alike.
At 46 feet (14.15 m) in length with a beam of approximately 4.5 m, the 460 GL offers generous interior volume and stable sailing characteristics. The hull design and sail plan aim to balance ease of handling with respectable performance under sail, allowing the boat to be managed comfortably by a small crew while still delivering enjoyable sailing in a range of conditions. Specifications include a single diesel engine, fuel capacity of 250 litres and water capacity of 530 litres.
The cockpit is arranged with twin helms, wide side decks and an open stern with a fold-down bathing platform, creating a practical space for both sailing and entertaining. Below deck, the boat contains three cabins, allowing the boat to accommodate families, private owners or charter guests comfortably.
With its spacious cockpit, large water capacity and easy sail handling, the Dufour 460 GL is particularly well suited to warm-water cruising grounds such as the Caribbean. The design lends itself to relaxed island-hopping, with plenty of outdoor living space and straightforward handling for short-handed crews on longer passages between anchorages.
