Broker's Comments

This is a superb example of the Drascombe Devon Coaster.
The Coaster is intended as a long weekender for up to four people.

Drascombe boats have been referred to as "the small boat that can..." And the reputation is well deserved.
The design is an evolution of the Northumberland hand line fishing craft, used along the exposed North sea coast.

The twin masted Gunter rigged yawl, has loose footed sails which enables a multitude of sail configurations ensuring a suitable sail plan in any conditions from gentle breezes up to gale force winds. With the optional roller furling foresail fitted this rig offers exceptional flexibility making this one of the most capable 21 ft centreboard sailing boat to venture along the coastline with.

This particular boat was built in 2021, has had a single owner and has been exceptionally well cared for.
The summer months are spent in a drying harbour and the rest of the year the boat is out of the water, undercover in a shed on her trailer.

To supplement the sails this boat is complete with a 2022, 6 horse power 4 stroke Suzuki outboard.

This is an excellent boat and well worth viewing.
