Broker's Comments
Cygnus Marine, a UK boatbuilder, is well known for producing commercial vessels, sought after for their robust, efficient hulls. However as each one is built to specification, every so often you come across a special offering that truly exceeds all expectations.
This Cygnus Cyclone Patrol 26 is that one for me! A proper boat, solid and well built with going to sea in the forefront of everything. Stepping aboard is easy with low freeboard and hand holds in the right places, the side decks are wide on both sides so you feel secure moving around and she really does have everything a big boat has (except the running costs!). They've also managed to make her attractive looking too, considering her first owner lived in a UNESCO world heritage site I imagine that was important. The practicalities are not forgotten either, a cockpit helm station, stern thruster and easily accessible engines all go with her seamanlike persona
Then you step inboard and all the preconceived ideas about Cygnus boats get blown away. A beautiful fit out using teak and leather gives a real luxury feeling and everything oozes quality and style. With all round vision she's still practical, a well laid out helm, versatile storage and all the utilities below the sole mean that all her space is usable, again you feel like you have a much bigger boat!
She's beautifully presented, recently relaunched, fully serviced and in my opinion, absolutely fantastic!
