Broker's Comments
Boatshed Wales are pleased to present this Catalina 30, a popular and well-regarded cruising yacht.
Commissioned in 1994, this is one of the later models featuring the desirable open transom, offering easy and convenient access on and off the boat. With over 6,000 built, the Catalina 30 has earned a strong reputation for reliability, comfort, and enjoyable sailing performance, along with a loyal following among cruising enthusiasts.
This particular example has clearly benefited from ongoing care and recent investment. She was lifted out for routine maintenance, including antifouling, in June 2025. A new mainsail was fitted in 2025, the standing rigging was replaced in 2021, and she is powered by a Beta diesel engine installed new in 2011.
Designed with ease of handling in mind, all lines are led aft to the cockpit, making her well suited to single-handed sailing. Below deck, she offers a spacious and sociable interior—one of the Catalina 30’s standout features.
Currently berthed at Neyland Marina, the berth may be available by separate negotiation.
Overall, she presents as a well-maintained and tidy yacht, ready for her next owner to step aboard and enjoy.
