Broker's Comments
This Brise De Mer 32's keel is welded onto the hull so you won't find any keel bolts. This boat is even more unusual because the owner specified that the spray hood and washboards were also solid aluminium. The boat seems extremely stiff with a somewhat military appearance.
There is an Aries self steering wind vane hung off the stern as well as a wind vane on the radar arch.
It has a smart and clean looking Yanmar 28hp engine.
Inside the boat is pretty basic with two sinks and a simple two burner hob. There is no fridge but a large locker aft of the galley for storing dry provisions. The pipe diesel heater and large paraffin lamp add more character to the saloon.
There are four berths - pilot berth, saloon berth and double berth when the saloon table is dropped. The forecabin is used for anchor chain, sails and fender storage rather than accommodation.
The navigation instruments are adequate but old fashioned by today's standards but there is a double chart table which further demonstrates this boats is for serious sailors.
In fact the owners have such confidence in the seaworthiness of their boat that they are prepared to deliver it to a UK buyer or a buyer over the Channel or North Sea.
These boat details are subject to contract.
