AquaDiablo – World Record Holder | Mercury 300 Verado | 70+ mph
Few boats earn the title of world record holder. Fewer still can back it up on the water. AquaDiablo is the rare machine that does both.
Built around a proven, race-bred hull with a world speed record to its name, this sub-8m trailable RIB is powered by a single Mercury V8 300XL Verado with power steering, Gen 2 foot throttle, and single console ERC for gears and hand throttle - delivering effortless control at any speed. She will comfortably exceed 65 mph in normal conditions, pushing past 75 mph (around 65 knots) when the water allows.
At just under 1,400 kg all-in with a custom Jaye Wolf 200-litre stainless steel tank, she is deceptively manageable for what she delivers, and comes on an Extreme Trailer for straightforward road travel.
This is not a leisure RIB dressed up with go-faster graphics. AquaDiablo was designed to race and has been developed into the definitive poker run machine - compact enough to trail, simple to service, and utterly serious about speed. The hull's geometry provides exceptional composure at pace, remaining planted and predictable even in lumpy conditions, though most owners choose to exploit her on flat, open water where the acceleration is genuinely breathtaking.
Navigation and electronics are specified to a professional standard. The Navico onboard network ties together a Simrad GO9 touchscreen, Simrad NSX, Mercury VesselView 703 engine display, Simrad VHF radio with RS205 handset, depth transducer (P79), Simrad IP cameras, and Pole 360 navigation lights - giving the helm a complete operational picture at all times.
Electrical management is handled by a digital voltage sensitivity relay, M Series battery switch, blade fuse block, and twin leisure batteries, with a Sahara 2 automatic bilge pump and kill switch rounding out the safety fit.
On the water or at the dock, the Fusion audio system delivers. The Apollo MS-RA670 and RA770 head units drive four X Series speakers via Fusion Link, ensuring the soundtrack matches the experience.
She is currently in warranty and holds Class B certification.
Fully equipped with the latest electronics and navigation package, AquaDiablo is as refined in her specification as she is extreme in her performance. Think of her as the RIB equivalent of a supercar or track race car- effortless to operate, devastatingly fast, and not for the faint-hearted.
If you are serious about fast water and want a boat that turns heads at the dock as readily as it disappears over the horizon, AquaDiablo deserves your attention.
