Length overall for moorage purposes is 28 ft.
Hull and deck construction is FRP. The hull and hardtop was re-sprayed with gelcoat by Todd Flye in Port Townsend. Non-skid decks are coated with EZ-Poxy. Underwater is coated with 10 layers of Interprotect 2000 barrier coat and copper-based bottom paint.
Fuel tank is stainless. The water tank and holding tank (both new) are poly.
All deck hardware was replaced during the refit and is 316 stainless.
A mahogany swim step was installed on the transom in 2025 to carry the 7 ft Livingston tender.

The cockpit is spacious with a doublewide helm seat at the helm station. Aft of the helm station, bench seats lie to the port and starboard side of the cockpit, suitable for passengers while cruising. A custom table also converts the built in seating into a dinette. Storage lies beneath this built in seating. A new Sunbrella cockpit cover provides total enclosure from the elements or can be opened up in good weather.
All interior wood was refinished during the re-fit.
An aft cabin contains a double berth, shelving, and storage.
The forward cabin is configured with a double berth forward. The hull sides of this cabin were lined with wood paneling during the refit, and this provides a warm comfortable feel to the cabin. The forward cabin also includes a galley with stainless sink. microwave, alcohol stove, and a considerable amount of storage for stores and provisions. A chest style fridge is installed in the cockpit just aft of the galley.
The head contains a new manual marine toilet plumbed to a 13 gallon holding tank. The holding tank can be pumped overboard with a macerator pump or pumped out through the deck fitting.
Cabin heating is provided by a forced air diesel heater or a red dot heater (engine heat) in the forward cabin while underway.
A new Magma propane stainless steel grill is installed on the aft deck above the aft cabin.

The Albin 25 is a popular Swedish built pocket cruiser or pocket trawler with over 2000 built. The unique compact design offers good headroom, two cabins, and excellent fuel economy at cruise (9 miles / gallon).
This Albin has been refit by her current owner over the past 5 years and appears in excellent, practically like-new condition, and over $27,000 in materials alone was spent on the re-fit.
The engine was replaced in 1995 and is estimated to have ~200 hours or less. Recent work includes new engine mounts, new exhaust, water pump rebuild, valve adjustment, and the head has been re-torqued
